Later,it is incorporate with Netscape
First this technology was named as GreenTalk and has its extension as ".gt". Later on, it is renamed as "OAK". Because this programming technology is so unique and OAK is the trademark of Oak technology. They decided to name this technology with the new name other than OAK which should be more unique as like that technology and easy to spell and free to say. The team member spending lot of time and energy to name this technology. The suggested words are "dynamic, alive, jolt, impact, revolutionary" etc. The name "java" emerged during that session and most the team member preferred this name than other. Notice, the Java is just a name, not an acronym. Finally, the java came to existence in the year 1995 with the version of "JDK BETA".
